Dear Me

Tears flooded my eyes. And then they were gone in less than 30 seconds.

I found this on Pinterest today and I couldn’t have said it better myself. This letter is almost a spot on representation of that last 15+ years of my life. Reading this was emotional for me. Tears flooded my eyes. And then they were gone in less than 30 seconds because I don’t let my guard down for long. Reading this also reminded me I’m not alone in what I’ve felt and continue to feel. You are not alone either. You can do this. You are growing and expanding beyond what you ever imagined was possible and amongst the successes of growth, there will be growing pains. But it’s time to love yourself the way you love others. It’s time to love yourself like you deserved to be loved.

My first thought is that if a person feels good about herself, she will pass that feeling of positivity and wellness along to those she meets. She owes it to herself and to those in her life to love herself.

7 You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.
